Build a Wildlife Area

The Build a Wildlife Area® program is the organization's signature strategy to acquire and restore critical wildlife habitat for public recreation. To date, we’ve opened more than 243,000 acres of permanently protected and publicly accessible upland wildlife habitat.

Public Access to Habitat (PATH)

Public access to hunting ground remains a significant barrier to hunters nationwide. Our PATH program works to incentivize private landowners to improve private land habitat and open it for walk-in hunting.
